what does "POF" mean?

In order to do a walk thru of any of the homes we have in inventory, you first must prove that you have the ability to pay the down payment. This is called Proof of Funds, or POF. This is usually done by taking a screen shot or a photo of your current bank statement. Feel free to void out the account number, etc. if you like. I mainly need to see a name associated with the amount, which should exceed the down payment requirement. Once you provide POF, we will then schedule and appointment with you to do a walk thru. 

Please understand the reason for us requiring POF. We are asked multiple times per day if someone can meet us at the home to check it out. In my experience, I have realized that the majority of those that request this don’t have the down payment that is required. So basically, it ends up being a waste of time for both parties.
